Excellent wow wow loving it all ours for 2 day and 2 nights so quite and relaxing

A really special place. Beautiful, tranquil, unique. Lovely owners, loads of space. Perfect for family get togethers - hiring the whole place is possible. A weekend does need payment for three nights, but split between guests the price is fine for what you get in return. The Hobbit house is beautifully designed and comfortable with its own covered kitchen area with gas hob and running drinking water and all the pots pans utensils necessary. Under the same shingle roof is a piece of art functioning as a table and bench set which easily seats ten. Then there's the wood fired hot tub in a shady glen with shower which is hot for a short while. Totally posh and beautiful composting loo, no smells at all, spacious with a sink outside. At least an acre of wild flowers and native hedging all to yourself here. Fire pit and logs to sit round it. Wood provided. With a shingle covered wooden swing seat and another separate hammock area. The other glamping space has the bell tent (which my sister found a little cold as a draft could come under the canvas, nothing an extra blanket can't cure) and the camper van which is really sweet and also under a canopy and trees so it isn't hot. There is a large shingled canopy with benches to seat about 12 comfortably around a table, beautiful woodwork again. Kitchen with everything necessary plus gas hob. The water there isn't drinking water and needs pumping up from a tank with a manual lever which is a little arduous. That kitchen tap is also where hands are washed after the loo, which wasn't tops. The drinking water is in the playing field twenty metres away. The hot tub is huge and sociable, wood fired we just loved it. Super fire pit for cooking but we took a portable BBQ as well which was useful as cooking on wood is an art ;0). Pizza oven too, but we didn't use that. Loads of space for children to run around, blow bubbles, fly paper aeroplanes, ride bikes, play rounders, explore the woods etc. Fridges provided a short stroll away and plugs for charging. The two sites are separate from each other and you won't feel like there's anyone else there in your private glade. But they are close enough to hire both sites as a family. I wouldn't hesitate to go again. Every beautiful photo you see of this site is for real....

Only stayed two nights, unfortunately! Wish we had booked for longer! Such a lovely place, has everything you need and more! Simon and Jaq are lovely hosts, really accommodating and happy to help! The hot tub was lovely to come back to after a day of walking! Perfect for a break away from the city, cant fault it at all!

A delightful place and such an adventure for the children (all 9 of them!) We went for a family weekend and had a wonderful time playing in the beautiful grounds, relaxing in the hot tubs and cooking around the campfire. Highly recommend!

We just had a weekend in the Secret Garden and have to say it was absolutely fantastic! A great start as we were greeted by our warming host Simon and a lovely box of veggies, picked that morning from the farm.Everything in the garden is perfectly put together. Private luxury camping at its best - Dinners over the fit pit, relaxing evenings in the wood fire hot tub and a comfy king size bed in the hobbit hole. We didn't want to leave, a great escape from city life and would firmly recommend to any looking for a romantic relaxing weekend away.
