Great room great food
Lovely place, nice and quiet, clean rooms, nice shower, good breakfast, friendly staff. Thought it was well worth the price and would happily stay again.
If you are looking for a nice place to stay and relax this is not the place... the owner/Manager Dave not a happy soul and the hotel and rooms show that. It's dated not very clean. This is more of a work man's place to stay. Not family orientated at all... kids play area leads straight onto a busy A road... This area is dead st night only a petrol station across the road. Will never stay here again...terrible
What fantastic weekend we had here for the duxford battle of britain airshow! The hotel rooms are really cosy,and the atmosphere in the pub and restaurant is really nice! The hotel classification is 2*, but I would say personally 3*plus! Thanks for great stay!
Stayed here for one night. Room was small and dated. The bedside lamps didn't work, manager gave hubby a couple of bulbs as replacement, they were the wrong type. One bath towel and one hand towel between us. One glass in the bathroom. Hubby was back and forth to the bar trying to get what we needed. Manager placed the blame squarely on the cleaner! Not a great start. When I sat at the dressing table/desk the mirror was 6 inches above my head. Breakfast was an unhappy affair and the choices were fired at us by the owner/waiter hoping we wouldn't quite hear the 'flinglish' and that we'd settle for a bacon sandwich or a sausage sandwich which strangely enough we all did. Clever ploy that. It ensured we'd never return. On a more positive note the bed was clean and comfortable.
