Everyone is really impressed by the work you and Matthew did at Dan's house. All aspects of it have been done to a very high standard. The floor tiles and the laminate planks all look spot on - perfect edges, straight lines, secure adhesion etc. The wall tiles were the hardest work, but as I have experienced with you in the past, you respond to the quality of the materials. You can do a fast makeover with B&Q paint look good and, as this time, when presented with expensive high quality tiles you ensure that the expense and quality are visible on the walls. The bathroom looks terrific - I have to pause every time I go in there! The kitchen too is transformed and the white paint over the varnished wood banisters has come out better than I thought possible. That's the thing, you knew what to do - while a standard handyman would have probably taken my brief to sand it down a bit and paint over it, you accepted the brief to paint it white and did it as it needed to be done. There was only a little bit of wallpapering this time but it is up to your usual standard and it took me a week to find the joins. The accessories are all fine - no drips from the new taps and no movement from the toilet or bath. The blinds all hang perfectly. It is an excellent piece of work and Dan is really grateful.
